Preselection involves asking additional questions to candidates in advance, during the application process, to ensure a more efficient selection and recruitment process. Candidates see these questions in the job ad and must answer them when applying.

This can be a key part of the hiring process, enabling employers to quickly filter applications, identify candidates who best meet their needs, and invite them to interviews.
