How does candidate rating work?
In HR Lab Assistant platform, HR professionals involved in candidate selection for a specific job opening can rate applicants by assigning star ratings. This rating system helps facilitate an easier and more objective evaluation process.
How do I assign ratings to candidates?
To rate a candidate, you need to open their application. In the list of applications, you can view the average rating of each candidate, but you cannot assign or change ratings directly from the list.
By clicking on a candidate’s application, their detailed application page opens, where you have the option to assign or modify your rating. You can rate a candidate by selecting a number of stars (from 1 to 5).
Can I see the ratings I’ve given later?
Yes, on the candidate’s application page, you can see the rating you assigned as well as the average rating given by all HRs who participated in the evaluation.
How is the average candidate rating calculated?
The candidate’s average rating is calculated based on all the ratings assigned by the HR professionals involved in the selection process. By clicking on the average rating, you can see a detailed breakdown of individual ratings.
What if I want to change my rating?
If you want to update your rating, simply open the candidate’s application page and select the new number of stars. Your rating will be updated automatically.
This system helps HR teams make decisions more easily through consensus and ensures a fairer selection process.
